When a 90s style revival and a nightwear-inspired Louis Vuitton collection for autumn winter 2013 collide, chances of seeing slip dresses switch from underwear to outerwear are high.

Indeed, at last night’s Bling Ring premiere in New York, both blogger Hanneli Mustaparta and art director of online boutique, Under Our Sky, Sofia Sanchez Barrenechea, wore slinky Louis Vuitton slips, just a week after Hayley Bennet wore a lace-trimmed dress from the same collection to the film’s LA premiere. Plus, when Nicole Richie slunk into the CFDA awards wearing a gold version from Marc Jabobs’ own-named label last week, she was one of the best dressed of the night.
